Through the Lens of Master Librodo

Shoot with Master Manny Librodo (Asia’s Master of Photography)

      Manuel Libres
Librodo Jr., “Life is a series of experiments”. His photos are extensions of his experiments. He learn, He stumble, He succeed, He fail, but He continue. This, for Him, is the essence of learning

He have been published in various international magazines (Digital Photo UK, Digital Camera UK, Mabuhay, Philippines, Digital Photography UK , among others) and he have appeared in other international publications in Poland, India, the US, etc. He’s one of the featured photographers in UNICEF 2008 calendar/planner and will be appearing in their 2009 Wall Calendar). He is also conducted portraiture workshops in some of Asia's main cities and in Canada.

When I was called by CCN, Camera Club of Negros, about the shoot, Doc. Mac. told me if I can provide 2 pretty models for them, It’s for the annual activity of CCN for their members to gather and in a way their bonding time, and at the same time they invite some photographers across the region to join them for the said activity,  since I am the agent of Bacolod Association of Models, I  chose 2 of the  top models in the agency, Minmin Cherniguin Ang and Noreen Macy Dongon.

His ULTIMATE GOAL is to have his own COFFEE-TABLE book.
He is originally from the town of Lambunao, Iloilo Province, located in the central part of the Philippines. Currently, He is teaching in an international school in Bangkok, Thailand.

At first, I never asked who will be their guest for the shoot, Doc Mac told me, they invited some photographers from Iloilo, and one of the master photographers in asia! BANG!!!    It’s MANNY LIBRODO !!!  I was so excited when Doc. Mac called for a meeting together with Sir Manny,to finalized the concept, wardrobes and make up.

With my partner Amanda Montaño, the sought-after hairstylist in Bacolod,I started the make up and Amanda did the hairstyling, We started early and finished our make up on time, It was one of the amazing outputs we did. Sir Manny noticed it and congratulate us for a job well done,
    First stop

We ended the day with full of fun and lightheartedness.  Another great maquillage!!!

Brooch and Classic

Sparkling hair accessories can make a pretty hairstyle even more refined and can be worn in lieu of or in addition to a veil. Wear these pieces simply, placing just one or two in your hair. Small barrettes and pins are sweet worn to one side. A lovely brooch can be fastened in back, above a bun or twist.

Couture wedding gown? Check. All you need is the high fashion wedding makeup and hairstyle to go with it. While some women desire a romantic, naturally flushed look on their wedding day, others hope for piercing smoky eyes and slicked back hair to set a fashion forward mood that's decidedly Parisian. It's your day: consider the aisle your very own runway and pull out all the stops. A high fashion makeup look is bold and perfect for a festive black tie affair attended by a handful of your most fashionable friends. Mix and match these tips as you wish for a highly personalized look or try on high fashion wedding make up in our virtual makeup studio.

Smoky eye makeup and light baby lips look unabashedly de rigeur paired with a couture wedding dress. Achieve the makeup look shown here with three eye shadows: snow white, ultra noir and a plummy charcoal.
Begin with a firm eyeshadow brush, using it to darken your lid from lashline to crease with the black color, then blend the shadow outward at the outer corner of each eye with a fluffy eyeshadow brush. To soften and smoke up the look, follow with charcoal plum shadow, applied on top and blended into the crease.
Your makeup inspiration should come from the sexy feline shape of Italian actress Monica Vitti's eyes. Highlight your brow bone with snow white shadow. Finish with copious amounts of black eyeliner and faux lashes. To score maximum drama, opt for light blue or amethyst contact lenses.

Diamond-inspired wedding makeup shines as the look du jour. Try an icy cool lip gloss that goes on pearly white and tastes like peppermint to make your wedding kisses exceptionally sweet.

Highlight a little, swan-like neck in a bridal updo that's slicked back with a deep side or center part, Parisian style. To give your hairstyle couture appeal, adorn it with a beaded brooch, pinned stealthily underneath the hair, or a gem-cluster pendant. Combined with comehither makeup, this look adds up to something that's seductive in the most offhand manner.
